Student Athlete Advisory Committee

SACC you will be meeting this Monday in the tech wing gymnasium at 8:30am.  Donuts and juice will be provided.  We are going to complete the athletic mission statement. Think about these 3 Questions: Who we are? What do we want to accomplish? How do we intend to accomplish these goals?

Boy’s Basketball First Tryout List

List will be posted by 10:00 AM on 11/7 on the coaches office door located downstairs in the fieldhouse gymnasium. Thanks again to all who tried out for your efforts.

Volleyball claims 5th in State

Volleyball finished their season by beating Timpanogos 25-22,22-25,25-15,25-18. Then they played a region contender Murray High School winning 25-14,25-17,25-16. The Lady Panthers are only losing one Panther next year and look forward to having you come out next year.  

Wrestling Practice/Tryouts This Week – 5th through the 10th

The wrestling season is now underway. Practice is each day after school from 3:00 to 5:00 in the wrestling room.  Showing up each day is tryouts.  Come push yourself and become a better athlete.  Boys and Girls are both invited!

Boys’ Basketball Tryouts, Monday and Tuesday, November 5th and 6th

Boys’ basketball tryouts for all grades are Monday and Tuesday, November 5th and 6th. They will take place in main gym fieldhouse from 5-7 PM on Monday and 3:30-5:30 PM on Tuesday. Please refer to earlier post for eligibility requirements. Volleyball beats Brighton, Falls to Springville

West volleyball panthers beat Brighton in 3; 25-17,25-22,25-23 to face Springville High School. Panthers then fall to an aggressive match against Springville 25-23, 25-22, 20-25,25-23. Faysal Aden named October Student Athlete of the Month

In first 10 games, he had 163 carries for 794 yards and 7 touchdowns, and 15 receptions for 215 yards and 3 touchdowns. Over 1,000 combined yards and 10 touchdowns. Faysal is more importantly a leader off the field in the classroom. Way to go Faysal!
