Girls Varsity Wrestling · Congratulations To New Hire Coach Howa & Hardman for Girls Wrestling Team!


UHSAA has sanctioned Girls Wrestling at the state level and West High School is excited to have current Coach Dustin Howa as the head coach with Rebekah Hardman for the Assistant Girls Coaching position!
Coach Dirt Howa was a 3A high school state champion at Carbon High School in Utah in 2005. He wrestled his college career at William Penn University where he was a 4 X national qualifier, 2 x member of their All-American Wrestling Team, earned Academic All-American Status, and was the Champion of Character award winner for William Penn in 2010. Coach Howa has been married to Samantha Davis for 4 years and they have a 2-year-old daughter together. He is in his 9th year at West High School as a coach.
Coach Rebekah Hardman wrestled at Park City High School where she was a 2-time girls state champion in Utah.  She also qualified against the boys for the 5A Utah State tournament in 2020.  She was a member of the Utah Dollamur All-Star team in 2019 and grew up training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before transitioning to wrestling.
