Here is some advanced information on our fall workout plans as well as reminders of our official start (tryout) dates and holiday moratoriums for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is all given out in the interest of helping people plan better.
We will hit the ground running with our fall program beginning Tuesday, September 3rd. From this date through the tryout dates on November 11th and 12th, this will be our schedule, in general, for those not participating in a fall sport (we will take fall break off which is October 17-20th):
Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays – lifting in the main weight room – 6-7 AM
Mondays and Wednesdays – Conditioning – 3-4:30 PM- Sites TBD
Tuesdays and Thursdays – Skill Work and Open Gym – 3-5 PM
Tryouts – November 11th and 12th – must attend both days to be considered
First Game – Tuesday, November 26th @ West Vs Taylorsville
**Please note that we will practice Wednesday morning, November 27th, 10 AM-12 PM
Thanksgiving Moratorium – no practices or games – November 28-Dec 1
Christmas Moratorium – December 21-25
Thursday, December 26th, Practice – 10 AM-12 pm
December 27, 28th, 30th and 31st – Games, all three levels, Utah Autism Tourney @ Olympus High School
Holiday Moratorium – Wednesday, January 1st
Thursday, January 2nd, Practice – 10 AM-12 PM
Final Preseason Games – Friday, January 3rd (Woods Cross) and Tuesday, January 7th (Bountiful) – both at Home
Friday – January 10th – Region Opener Vs Riverton @ West
Please plan accordingly for our fall program as well as tryouts and the holidays. All those hoping to play basketball this coming season are expected to fully participate in what we have planned this fall. Once in-season, any travel around Thanksgiving or Christmas breaks should be planned around game and practice schedules.
For your convenience I have attached our schedule for the upcoming 19-20 season. This is only for sophomore, junior varsity and varsity. The freshman schedule is still being worked on.
